An Ikeja Chief Magistrate Court on Tuesday remanded a 37-year-old driver, Olabode Fakorode, in prison for allegedly robbing a man of his car at gun point.

Chief magistrate A. A. Fashola adjourned the case until April 22.

The prosecutor, Sgt. Michael Unah, alleged that the defendant, who resides at Gbobe in Benin Republic,  robbed one Olusola Adeboga of his Toyota Camry, valued at N1.8 million at gun point.

Unah told the court that the defendant with two others still at large committed the offences on Jan. 5 at about 9.45 pm at Morogbo on the Lagos-Badagry highway.

He said that the defendant and the others, disguised as policemen and stopped the complainant at a check point. (NAN)
